Subject: Schoolshooters.info is currently down Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:56 pm

Schoolshooters.info, a database of articles and documents of over a hundred school shooters, is currently down, as you can see here:

I'm not a very technical guy, so I'm not sure if whatever is going on with the site is a temporary problem or is something more serious. It's a real shame too; It's been a wonderful source of information for my studies.

did the website say they were changing ips or something recently?

I saw no mention of such the last time I visited the site, which was sometime around 10:00 in the morning. It is possible that a message popped up between then and now, but I wouldn't count on it.

i checked chrome on my phone and it popped up saying that the server could of changed ip or moved

I got a privacy error saying to back out of the site immediately.

Well it looks like it was just a case of an IP change, thankfully. The loss of such a major source of information would be catastrophic to researchers. I'm going to archive as much of the site as I can to negate some of the potential fallout.
