| I know after committing the shooting Cruz disguised himself as a Student to escape the School and was arrested by Police afterwards, but I was just wondering, where was he going to? Was he going back to his house? Was he going back to his car? Did he think he was going to get away with it? | |

Cruz didn't own a car, or have a driver's license. After he was actually able to escape the school grounds, I think he really just didn't know what to do after that. But it's not like he went and hid somewhere. He went to a public area and walked around. So who knows, maybe he really did think he had gotten away with it. |

| I don't think cruz though he would get away with killing 17 people. Honestly, I think he knew he was heading to prison. |

How did he get an AR-15 then? I thought you had to own a driving license to buy a gun. Not to sure of the Florida gun laws.  But to my knowledge he passed the background check, even the mental health part. Then was allowed to legally purchase it. |
