Hey all,
I got so busy with work that I was unable to complete the first phase of the document repository I've been working on. Instead of releasing it publicly this month, what I'd like to do is find 5 people who'd like to beta test it for a couple of weeks.
If anyone is interested, PM me and let me know. If for some reason I don't respond or you can't PM me, let me know here.
The document repository is strictly a site to house about 35,000 pages of documents and make them available without having to access PFD files, without having to to figure out which PDF file contains the page number you want to access, or any downloads, in a way that makes finding page numbers simple. For example, when you're looking at the page for the 11k report you can get to any page in the report with a single click from that page. Page
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is just as easily and as quickly opened as page
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.],462 all from one page.
There will be phases to the launch. The first phase is ready for testing even though it's not complete.
I will have to limit it to five people, though, so let me know if you'd like to be one of those people!
There are only a couple of requirements. One - don't give your password to anyone else (I will track logins to IPs and delete access if there are multiple IPs logging in with the same password) and two - don't use a mobile device, as I've not optimized it for mobile.
The kind of feedback I'm looking for is your general experience of what's easy, what's a struggle, if something isn't clear, or if something is hard to use.
The goal is to make the system easier to the extent that I can make it easier.
Thanks all!
