why not? If it helps you in your process, writing and being creative is a really good outlet.
I wrote a monologue about my feelings my freshman year of college but I wasn't allowed to perform it in class but a few years later someone wrote a 1 woman show about her feelings on 9/11 to perform for class... no I was not annoyed at all about that.
