| The blonde girl second from the right looks to be smiling, yes.
Maybe they're at a funeral and the speaker has just made a light-hearted remembrance of the person who died: "Hey, remember that time that..." Or maybe they're showing the victim's baby pictures and everyone is thinking, "Aw, s/he was so cute!" Everyone is sad, but some people are smiling and laughing at the happy memory.
Or maybe not.

| Some people laugh when they’re uncomfortable or have too many emotions... some remain stoic.
The character of Izzie on Greys Anatomy laughs at funerals. There’s a great scene at the funeral of her best friend. She goes off to a more secluded area and her friends see her with her head down and they go to comfort her and she’s cracking up laughing at the absurdity of everything...

| Hehe, it's not her who caught my eye. It's the chick right next to her who has that look of amusement, slight embarrassment and even a bit of disgust. But I like how composed she appears. |

Yes, she appears more composed than anyone else in the photo. She caught my eye more too. She seems very calm and at peace with whatever is going on. |

| If I'm correct I believe on a Columbine Site it said that they had just seen a couple of their friends they were worried about running towards them from the school so they were relieved and happy to see them. In another picture of the same girls they're all huddled around someone and hugging them | |
