I'd be curious to know how much Eric Harris read of those books. I would think he'd have kept them just to be edgy.

Vladislav Roslyakov read Shakespeare's ''Hamlet'' and was interested in military literature. I think he also read a nationalist pamphlet but I don't have the source right now.

This shooting is pretty obscure, but the Heath High School shooter Michael Carneal had a copy of Rage by Stephen King, which lead Stephen King to allow the book to go out of print.

Rage is a 1977 novel about a school shooting. (created by stephen king as i said before)

Karl Pierson also had a PDF of "A Field Guide to Monkeywrenching, 3rd edition" and a copy of the Communist Manifesto
He also read "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky from the library and hated it. (Actually, rereading the report, I'm unsure if this was referring to the book or the movie.)

In addition to Gary Scott Pennington, Michael Carneal, and Barry Loukaitis (who were already mentioned in the thread,) Jeffrey Lyne Cox (1988, San Gabriel High School) and Dustin L. Pierce (1989, Jackson County High School) had a copy of Stephen King / Richard Bachman's Rage.

Myron May (2014 Florida State University shooting) owned and referenced Dr. Robert Duncan - Project Soul Catcher: Secrets of Cyber and Cybernetic Warfare Revealed in his final writings. He also mentioned buying a book by Renee Pittman Mitchell, and listed authors Gloria Naylor and Kola Boof as targeted individuals like himself.

Brenton Harrison Tarrant discussed Hitler's Mein Kamph online (using the pseudonym Barry Harry Tarry in the private Facebook group The Lads Society Season Two.)
He also bought Fascism: 100 Questions Asked and Answered by Oswald Mosley (sent to Lauren Tarrant for her partner) and The Decline of the West by Oswald Spengler and A Short History of Decay by E M Cioran (sent to Sharon Tarrant.) I would imagine he owned or at least read those books himself before sending them to his family.

Michael Carneal had a document on his computer titled "The School Stopper's Textbook: A Guide to Disruptive Revolutionary Tactics, revised edition for junior high/high school dissidents."
For those of you curious, it's available here.

Elliot Rodger read and was briefly fascinated with Gregory Garcia's The Secret Law of Attraction, a book his dad gave him.
(He loved it initially, but when meditation failed to yield him winning lottery tickets, he almost ripped it apart in frustration.)
(Source, pages 78-79.)

Lanza also quoted Harry Browne's How I Found Freedom In An Unfree World: A Handbook for Personal Liberty in his Tomorrow document. I haven't heard about him physically having it, but he clearly read it.

Ilnaz Galyaviev's favorite novel is Steven King's The Shining, saying that "he writes atmospheric." That makes at least six school shooters fans of King.
He also likes Jack London, but I'm unsure of any particular works.

George Sodini was apparently really into a book called "How to Date Young Women For Men Over 35," by R.D. Steele. It didn't seem to help.
