Very. I find it notable that he was a combat veteran of WWI - both because I find mass killers who served in the army to be interesting in and of themselves and because WWI itself is a very overlooked war in history.
I do gotta say, while I'm not surprised that the culprit was a schizo, for some reason I was anticipating that it was just going to be a generic angry guy with a chip on his shoulder. Must be desensitization from so many shooters of the 21st century.
