Include the minutes/seconds the shooting and the escape lasted seperately. If a shooter escaped and the shooting was for example 4 minutes mention it like this. The shooting took 4 minutes and escape overall 26 minutes so the whole act was about hallf an hour.

A few out of the top of my head are
2017 Las Vegas shooting : 12 minutes (no escape)
Columbine highschool shooting : 49 (But around 17 minutes of active murder since they didnt kill anybody anymore after leaving the library) ( no escape)
2016 Munich shooting : 13 Minutes of active shooting, 2 hours 23 minutes of hiding/escape. Overall 2 hours and 36 minutes.
2019 Christchurch mosque shooting : 22 minutes ( including the drive between the two mosques and an attempt to reach a third location.)
