Car Bomb goes off in Nashville injuring 3

A car bomb went off today on Second Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. It was contained in an RV and injured three. The car bomb had a speaker that spoke out warnings and had a countdown.

The bomb exploded near a pub and AT&T store damaging phone lines:

The most likely targets were a courthouse and AT&T building.


Police were responding to a shots fired call when the device was discovered.



I've heard that it was targeting police but I feel like it was just a message rather than a device planted to harm people. What do you think?
