Just had to report a guy planning a norway copycat to the fbi

So me n this guy were joking on Instagram n he suddenly started being serious about planning. A massacre and sent a pic of a glock n him using it in target practice. And he sent the Christchurch vid to my friend and today he said he was going to kansas tommorow to buy ammonium nitrate and fetilizer then he suddenly deleted his acc so i was certain he wasn't joking so i made a tip to the fbi . Btw have u guys been in this situation before n how long do the tip offs take to get processed cause i'm worried about him killing people

I don’t discuss anything to do with any shootings or anything like that other than on this forum, and very occasionally on this forums discord thing it set up.

Largely down to the fact that it’s reasonably well monitored on here and most of the admin would likely pick up in anything like that. Even here though there have been examples in the past where you end up speaking with madmen and they’ve slipped through the net and gone on to hurt/ kill people. That’s not the admins fault of course, but it does make me uneasy I may have inadvertently discussed this sort of crime with someone who is actually planning on doing something similar themselves.

Yeh i usually talk about true crime cases on Instagram as it's more active but the downside is theres some weird ppl in the Instagram tcc like they say they want Richard ramariez to kill them and stuff it's actually quite disturbing some of the stuff they say even more so the fact most of these are 13-15 year old girls

The Kansas bit is a reference to Timothy McVeigh, who was in Kansas buying fertilizer right before the April 19, 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City, killing 168. The story that finally knocked OJ Simpson off the news for awhile, but current generations don't seem to find out about it much.
