Oh, wow. The Paradise Lost series definitely did not show all of the evidence. I feel sort of bad for Misskelley either way, it seems like he was/is of lower mental capacity and if they really did commit the murders, whether or not Misskelley had an active role in the crime, it's pretty fucked up that they both completely brushed him off and acted like they had no association with him at all during the trial. It came across like he was fucking THEM over during the trial in the documentary series, but I have the complete opposite feeling now.
