I had a feeling throughout the trial he was gonna get life, but when the jury came back pretty quickly i thought was gonna be DP. Not surprised tho. The defence really drilled the 'nah, he's crazy, not his fault' thing.

I'm disappointed. If there is a criminal that deserved the death penalty, it would be someone like Cruz. Low empathy, low IQ, willingness to use violence, no evidence of a psychotic disorder that could be countered by medication... ... overall the least likely candidate for an in-prison rehabilitation.
