Carl Allan Reimann was released from prison after serving 45-years of his 50-to-150 for the murder of five people in the so-called '1972 Pine Village Steakhouse Massacre'
On December 29, 1972, Carl Allan Reimann, 31, of Sandwich, Illinois, and his then girlfriend Betty Francis Piche, 30, of Somonauk, Illinois, murdered five people and rodded $500.00 before fleeing the scene in his 1959 Chevrolet

Riemann was sentence to 50-to-150 years in prison with the possibility to apply for parole after 22-years and Piche was sentence to 20-to-60 and 10-to-30 years in prison, Piche was released in 1983 and died in 2004
Reimann was released on parole in 2018 after serving 45-years of his 50-to-150 sentence
this case really interests me due to the face that he's a mass killer who is now free witch is really interesting scenario
