This isn't really related to the actual shooting but I saw this article about James Holmes' apartment been put back up for rent: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It says in that article that someone said the building should be bulldozed/torn down. Isn't there more than just his apartment in that building? So the other people living in the building are supposed to be homeless and lose their apartments because a murderer lived in one of the apartments? Yea, that seems like a great idea, tear the place down so there are even MORE victims.

Yeah i also thought this, i think Holmes did live in an apartment block and there will be other people living there. I can understand the relatives of the victims been upset and probably wanting to destroy where James Holmes lived. But it is not very realistic to have the whole building where others live destroyed because Holmes happened to live there.

Didn't they demolish Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment before for the same reason? I'd understand demolishing Dahmer's apartment because of the fact he KILLED there. Holmes killed at the theater, not his apartment. I get why they want to tear it down, but other people live there too!

Yes, I believe that they tore down that whole apartment complex too because of that one apartment. I hope whoever's great idea it was to tear down the whole building helped the other people living there find new homes. I doubt it though, they probably just left them homeless.

They're so offended that they don't even think about other people living there.

I went to the cinema to watch the new Jurassic World a few weeks after learning of this tragedy, and it was probably the most eerie day of my life.
