How is Noah a columbine copycat? Because he had a columbine song saved? that's a pretty low bar to define some1 as a columbine copycat.
I don't think Salvador even cared about columbine
U seem to confuse ppl being interested in columbine with them being copycats. Adam specifically said he didn't like Eric and Dildo.

Esbensen also listened ''Pumped Up Kicks'' during the shooting, so I think he was a Columbine Copycat or an edgelord interested in multiple cases of shootings and tried to copy them.
Salvador listened songs about Columbine, so he knew about this attack and seems to be interested in Columbine
A lot of people insults E&D as ''faggots'' or ''losers'' online for the lulz too and was fascinated by them at the same time. I also did it several times, especially on chans etc. So, Adam insulting E&D is not proof enough that he actually didn't liked them. He also wrote many controversial and weird posts in which he contradicted himself.

''Columbine Copycat is someone who is sexually obsessed with E&D, someone who wears a trenchcoat, natural selection t-shirt, who has the same guns as them, and copied the Columbine attack in every detail''
- your definition of Columbine Copycat

Ur definition of copycat:
Someone who mentions columbine or had any interaction with anything minimally columbine related in their life.... Or someone who never mentioned columbine like Salvador... Of course

Nah bro. For example: Elliot also had an interaction with Columbine online, but he didn't seem interested in the shooting. So I didn't qualify him as the Columbine copycat.
''Or someone who never mentioned columbine like Salvador''. You don't have to mention Columbine to be a Columbine copycat. F.e.: if someone was listening songs about Columbine and seems to be interested in this shooting case, not to mention the shooting online anywhere, then committ his own attack because he got the idea for the attack from Columbine - so that disqualified him as a Copycat?

I agree, context cues suggest that it wasn't that Adam hated Eric and Dylan on a personal level or even over ideological differences, but rather because they received a lot of media attention disproportionate to their actions. He said in an email he wasn't keeping track of the Aurora shooting because of the media attention surrounding it.

I think your criteria for a Columbine copycat is too broad. Or maybe 'influenced' by Columbine would be a more fitting label? Cuz a lot of people will interpret 'copycat' as using Columbine as a blueprint rather than being vaguely aware of/inspired by them, or just having sympathies for it. Even then I still don't think there's sufficient evidence to classify some of these cases that way. Even more so with the the longer list of 'Columbine copycats' you made in a different thread.
Although, I would agree that Columbine has influence outside of people obsessing over it. It definitely made mass shootings hip n' cool enough to warrant a dedicated subculture, even if it's evolved a great deal over time.

Yes, I generally agree with you. If I create more threads about Columbine-inspired shooters, I will use a more fitting term ''Columbine-influenced/inspired'' shooters in them. This is also a controversial thing because different people have different criteria and definitions of Columbine copycats.
