I'm currently looking into seeing whether I can get a FOIA request going. Tell me what you'd like to see.

I was also considering making a FOIA for some audio of the 911 calls made at Weis Markets. In general, 911 calls are something I'm pretty interested in seeing/hearing.

Not saying you have to do a FOIA for everything I just said just a list of options cause some cases will be hard to get FOIA's out of. Pretty sure most everything I mentioned isn't released yet.

I'm interested in Christian Nielsen's confession. Over labor day weekend in 2006, he shot a person to death in a forest, & then three more at the inn he worked at in Maine. After he got caught, he led the cops to the body of his first victim (the one in the forest) & confessed to it while being recorded. Only about two minutes of that confession was released (see the video below).

He also confessed to the other murders in the interrogation room of a police station. None of that interview has been made public.

You could try requesting it yourself, New Mexico has lax info laws and the stuff should be free.

I think there is always benefit in showing reality. Withholding the evidence created a vacuum that had to be filled by something. Alex Jones took advantage of this by broadcasting conspiracy theories to push supplement sales. After reading the book Sandy Hook: An American Tragedy and the Battle for Truth, I could argue that this was far more damaging to the families than the photos being released would have been.

It would have been a lot harder for Alex Jones and other bad actors to lie about Sandy Hook if the graphic evidence was not withheld.

True, but I've heard of parents who have their children's bodies and deaths put online often get harassed with them. No one wants their children's corpses just out for all to see.

I don't think even a bunch of pictures of dead kids can convince conspiracy theorists that Sandy Hook is real. You have to have some level of denial and mental gymnastics to even believe that the government had faked or backed a whole school shooting just to push gun laws They would probably pick the crime scene photos apart and find something in them to confirm their theories.

You are not wrong. It is quite difficult to reason somebody out of a position that they did not reason themselves into.
