Who was Carter Boyles and why is so little known about him?

I know that he was a 15 year old from Iowa who came close to shooting up his highschool but backed out and killed himself. Who exactly was he and why is so little information known about him?

It's like what you said: he backed out. He became one of the many cases of suicide. The only reason he got a bit of coverage on the news, was the potential shooting. No one online rly knows anything abt him expect [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but he's mere dust in the gulf of Mexico, so it looks like we might never respond to this question.

He didnt shoot up a school so there wouldn't be that much investigation into him.
