Kuban citizen viciously murdered beautiful birds

A farmer from Krasnodar will be prosecuted for animal abuse after killing more than 30 bee-eaters. Beautiful birds got into his trap and died. The beekeeper decided to fight with birds which regularly ate his bees.

"During the investigation it was established that the local citizen set up a trap for birds for personal gain aimed at the minimization of losses from the apiary activity. The trap for birds consisted of two metal poles, a rack and a net stretched between them", - the press-service of the Krasnodar prosecutor's office reported.

According to the press-service, the citizen of Kuban understood that he caused suffering to birds yet deliberately tortured them. It's been established that between the 13th and 26th of May the farmer, acting publicly in the presence of minors, caught and didn't release more than 30 European bee-eaters thereby letting them die.

European bee-eaters (Merops apiaster) are listed as endangered species. In Russia these birds are listed as protected species of the south regions.

The farmer can face a prison term of 5 years for animal abuse.

if your going to kill animals at least kill invasive gross invasive things like asian carp not beautiful birds that are probably endangered
