| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Happy Birthday to Daniel June 25, 1983 - April 20, 1999 IMO, one of the bravest guys, who lost his life for fighting back. Boy stood his ground that day. Hope his family is doing well. _________________ Will you remain my fire in this temporary paradise?

| I agree as well. Daniel's loss particularly saddens me (as does Kyle's) as I know he died doing a heroic thing. Happy Birthday Daniel. May you never be forgotten. |

| Yeah. After reading the context of his shooting, I thought he might've survived, having an injury either critical or not. It's the part after where he stood his ground and payed for it with his life. I agree, one of the losses that saddens me. His father Tom's hard work the following years after really touches me too. He is SO strong, so inspirational, and spreading his message in Daniel's shoes. I saw an interview done with Daniel's sister once, she's so beautiful and it was nice to see her being brave and ready enough to talk about the loss of her brother. An example of a family that took it as strong and well as they possibly can. _________________ Will you remain my fire in this temporary paradise?

Totally agree with everything you said. I've always appreciated Tom's fierce dedication to his son. His description of how he and his wife Linda (who were unable to sleep and were waiting for news about Daniel on the night of the massacre) held each other and cried, realising that Daniel may no longer have been with them on earth has always stayed with me (article is here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) Same with how Kathy Harris wept when Tom and Linda revealed to her and Wayne how traumatized and depressed Dan's sister had been as the result of his death. The Mausers were such a tight family unit. Daniel seemed like such a cool, chilled dude who was wise beyond his fifteen years. I love the little impish smile he had. Rest easy, kiddo. | |

| Daniel was a brave kid. I think about him a lot. I think I feel the most for Isaiah but I also feel for Daniel. Happy Birthday! _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need
