I will be interviewed by Cracked this week

Cracked re-shared their article from earlier this year about the Sandy Hook truthers on FB. They've bumped it several times, and I comment on it each time. Well, this time, the author of the article saw my comment and PMed me, asking if he could interview me. I said sure. So we're set up to have a talk on Thursday.

(I have no idea what the turnaround time is between interview and an actual article, but I'll keep people informed!)

What will they enquire you about? Columbine? I'll look forward to it then.

Did Joe ever talk with you about what Columbine was like for him? What he experienced there?

Did he ever talk about making videos or watching videos made about the school? Did he ever talk about people wanting to shoot or blow up the school back in 1998?

Did he ever talk about what his experience was like with Eric/Dylan?

1) The bullying he and other outcasts he experienced was why the TCM was formed to begin with, as a way for the outcast kids to stick together.
2) No. He said people would suggest it but only as a joke.
3) The only stuff I know about that is what he was quoted as saying about them in news articles. He never said anything to me directly.

Me too. In my country, surprisingly, this event didn't receive much coverage from the media, since 1999, so I'm always looking forward to hear or read new points of view like yours, Amanda.

It is nice to hear from someone with a last name other than Brown speaking about it. I will be looking out for that interview!

Amanda, if I could ask, I would like to know what you think about while reading the way the members including myself speak about Eric and Dylan. At times does it make you feel put off because of course, what you actually been through in the flesh, and now many years later us discussing about it and humanising them.

I was given the article for review a couple days ago. I approved of it. It's very well-written Those of you who know me and/or have watched my videos won't really find much new information in it, but hey, that's fine. I wonder what the reaction is gonna be.

Great interview Amanda! I think it's great that you're willing to speak about what happened in such an open and frank manner. I do have a few questions though if you dont mind:

Do you ever get triggered by posts here? And if so why do you continue posting? Has posting here and doing YouTube videos helped in your recovery process? Or do you see yourself more as "setting the record straight" among people who are going to discuss/dissect the case regardless?

I've always wondered what it must feel like for people who lived through that day to view this forum. As you said no one but the survivors will ever know how that it all felt, no matter how many reports and news articles us researchers read. Does the continued intrest in the case ever make you feel uncomfortable on a personal level?

Also you said that the school enviroment changed after the shooting, but once new kids who werent there started attending it regressed again. As a survivor do you feel anything positive (purely in terms of knowledge and safety) came from it? Do you think America will learn anything from these kinds of attacks?

I'm sorry if any of these questions are out of line. It's just very rare to get to speak to someone who's lived through this kind of event. I greatly appreciate any answers you're willing to give, and thanks again for being so open in the first place

I find that if I read about the shooting too much I start to feel ill. I used to dwell on this forum more in the past, but not as much now, since my anxiety has been dialed up to 10 as of late.

I'm not sure what to make of the continued interest, honestly. It's kinda weird and scary to see that so many teens actually admire what E&D did.

I'd say that this forum, intentionally by some, and unintentionally by others, hyperfocuses on the two killers. That's why I called my account "myshame", because I know that having discussions like these isn't really beneficial.
