Columbine High School Massacre Discussion Forum
A place to discuss the Columbine High School Massacre along with other school shootings and crimes. Anyone interested in researching, learning, discussing and debating with us, please come join our community!
It contains numerous inaccuracies, such as speculating on more than two suspects, and mischaracterization of the Trench Coat Mafia. Includes a segment on goths, that while fair, is irrelevant in retrospect.
It's still interesting to see the immediate aftermath.

Considering it's only 8 days after the massacre I don't fault them for speculations

I take back the "fair" part. It heavily implies that the two killers were fans of Marilyn Manson, which was inaccurate.

Yes I don't think they were 'fans' of Marilyn Manson, but:

KASTLE was asked about KLEBOLO's hobbies and interests. He stated that KLEBOLD was into hard-punk music like Marilyn MANSON, and the German rock band KMFDM. KLEBOLD was also a Red SOX fan and a Roger Clemens fan.

Mrs. Klebold indicated that Dylan had a poster o f Marilyn Manson and that she asked him about it, and in particular asked him what it meant. Dylan had told her that it didn't mean anything and that he didn't really listen to lyrics of Marilyn Manson music, however, did listen to the music.

Duran: they didn't even listen to Marilyn Manson. Morris: Yeah I know, they didn't listen to any of that junk. I mean Dylan did,
*On a side note: Nate Dykeman also had Marilyn Manson posters in his room. Pages 003142/003145.

A lot of Mansons music has that industrial sound, so I could see Dylan liking the music and not caring about the lyrics. Having said that thought, even if you listen to a band for any reason I still consider you a fan

Some time ago, I posted clips of CBS coverage from the day it happened:
