Man, oh man, would they have been the sensation on youtube. Assuming youtube/google wouldn't have deleted them, of course.

"You have to check out that youtube site, man! They have everything, even that Columbine shit!"

Would have been nice. Especially if it hadn't before the Google takeover back when YouTube didn't have ads before any of its videos.

Google takeover happened at the end of 2006. Also, at the time, youtube videos could only be 10 minutes long. The basement tapes would probably be a 20-part video, at least.

It wouldn't matter. Once they were out, people would snatch them up onto their hard drives. The tapes would be all over dailymotion, etc. even if youtube decided they were too scary for the kids.

No I was saying that if it happened in the original YouTube, like 2005-early 2006 when there weren't any ads or 10 minute limits. That video would have accumulated a couple of million views in the first year and by now it'd have like 40,000,000,000.

A lot of people would download them, and reupload them elsewhere if they got taken down. There would be tons of copies all over the place. Youtube, Dailymotion, LiveLeak etc.
