Verifying articles/Small Question

Has anyone discovered why Dylan had a scar on his stomach? in the book his mom said he went to the ER for stomach pain. I was thinking maybe he cut too deep and had to get stitches, but she didn't go in depth in the book?



In Far From the Tree SK mentions Dylan could have been an organ donor. I'm not sure that would have been possible. His organs started to die shortly after he stopped breathing I assume, he wasn't just brain dead. She said no one would want the organs of a murderer... I don't know, if I was in need of an organ I would take it if it was a match.

I have to disagree with you on that one. If either of my children were in desperate need of a transplant, meaning a life or death situation, I wouldn't care who or where they were from. Wouldn't even give it a second thought. I am sure most parents would feel the same.

I agree. His kidneys and corneas did not make him a murderer.
If I had his kidney put into my body I would not suddenly want to kill people. It is just a kidney. And according to the autopsy report it was a healthy kidney lmao!

That brings to mind a horror movie I watched along time ago about someone getting a transplant from a killer and then they started feeling the donors feelings of wanting to kill.  Damn, I can't remember the name of it though.

The one I am thinking about is The Eye with Jessica Alba....but she didn't become a killer. She got corneas from someone and then begins seeing dead people/people dying.

The Eye was actually a good movie.

Found it! It was a movie called Body Parts(1991)

There was an episode of Grey's Anatomy where a death row inmate wanted to donate his kidneys to a dying boy. There was a moral dilemma, Meredith got dark and twisty, Derek yelled a lot.
