Shooters with lack of photos

What are some shooters which have... not enough photos of themselves? Of which shooter would you like to see more photos?

I've been dying for years to see other photo of Marc Lepine and I think I saw it in one documentary, but I struggle to find it again.

Larry Gene Ashbrook also have only one photo (on which he looks badass)

I actually just came across one recently that I'd never seen before, but it's a photo from childhood.

This. Michael Ryan haunted me for years because of the fact that there is only one fucking photo of him, that one where he's standing with the pitchfork. Childhood photos are interesting, but doesn't give us any view of how he looked at the time of the shootings. I think we have to accept that there is no other photo of him as adult actually existing.

Tristan van der Vlis - there are 4 or 5 photos of him, but I assume they were taken when he was a teenager. He was 24 or 25 at the time of the shooting so no idea how he looked back then.

Anyone want to see that second Joseph Wesbecker photo? I can try to search again for it and upload

I feel similarly about Lanza. There are a number of photos of him but most are from his childhood and teenage years and I want to know what he looked like in his last couple of years, if not the day of the shooting. The police definitely have photos of him (posing with guns) but I read somewhere that these were still from two years before the shooting so it's unclear if any photos of Adam over the age of 18 ever existed at all.

Edit: Also, I always wonder if these are actually two separate photos of Michael Ryan from the same general moment but I can't tell if it's just the varying quality of the photos.

Do you see how in some versions, it looks like his mouth is opening like he's about to say something and in others, his mouth is closed (with possibly a slightly different expression on his face)?

Good point about this photo. I agre that they are two different photos, maybe taken with a one second break. His facial expression is different, his nose is up, mouth open.

Lanza photos don't satisfy me also. Firstly, because of his "inhuman" looks, I can't imagine even the way he was walking. Secondly, as you say, because he was 14-18. At the age of 20 he could look slightly different, maybe he grow a beard or something. It's a shame that even his brother didn't have more actual photos of him.

So we are stuck on Ryan and Lanza and I doubt we will find more photos of them. They're like ghosts, like they never existed and in some way it's cool, because it adds some mystery in their cases.

I remember regarding Patrick Sherrill as a "one photo shooter", but after the research I found 8 or 9 photo of him in total. If anyone will show interest, I'll upload them

British spree killers Daniel Gonzalez, Robert Sartin and Barry Williams. There's only 1 photo of Gonzalez that I could find, and there's only a few pictures of Sartin and Williams.

I would say it is impossible for anyone in there mid twenties or lower to avoid there photo being online one way or another, for example a school year photo being uploaded on facebook. Therefore most new shootings always have more pictures available. Remember Michael Ryan's Hungerford Massacre was in 1987.

I know it was in 1987, but for example there are about 10 photos of James Huberty, and his shooting was 3 years earlier.

My first thought before I opened this thread was George Hennard, which funnily enough OP has as his picture. I'd also include Frank Vitkovic who killed 8 people in 1987 during the Queen Street massacre.

it seems like there's hardly any pictures of adam lanza or chris harper-mercer, at least compared to what we have of most shooters

I was scrolling through tumblr and someone had posted that picture on there claiming it's a picture of Marc from High School. So that's 3 pictures of him.

Actually we have - I posted that topic and I posted some documentary, where his cousin, girlfriend, mother and two co-workers are talking about the situation. There is also some photos of him, crime scene photos & videos, his body afer suicide and CCTV of the actual shooting.

I'd say that the most mysterious workplace shooter of recent years is Andrew Engeldinger.

I saw this one while ago. It's funny he stayed with this haircut for his entire life.

Still, it's strange there isn't any other photo of him as an adult.
