Jesse Osborne claims to have been encouraged by TCC "friends"

According to the above news article, Osborne "planned the shooting days in advance", having spoken about what he planned to do "at least six days prior to the shooting". It looks like the theory that Osborne was inspired by Adam has been confirmed, as he apparently stated that he wanted to "beat" Adam. Osborne was also apparently considering an attack on his middle school but the "tons of cops" there dissuaded him.
Jesse said he was apart of a "TCC" Instagram group, who said "they were all going to shoot up their schools, too" and were "cheer[ing]" him on when he spoke of his intention to kill 23 children.

Chris Harper Mercer (and probably a few others) made passing references to Lanza, but it seems that rather than Mercer being inspired by Lanza in particular, he simply admired his high bodycount/infamy

I read another article about this which made several references to Columbine but none relating to Sandy Hook.

The Daily Mail states Jesse was saving money in hopes to buy an AR-15.

Based on what I have read in a couple of articles, they seem to think that he's a budding psychopath with no real chance for rehabilitation even though he's still too young for them to give him an official label. If they can, they will probably keep him locked up for the rest of his life.

Well he killed his dad and a six year old kid, with the intent of killing more, so it's really no wonder they're throwing everything they got at him.
