Many of you may remember this or some may of not heard of it, This Mass Murder Event was extremely Brutal and this is how it unfolded.
On the 24th of March 2015 Flight 9525 departed from Barcelona towards Dussledorf, On board are 150 passengers including Co pilot Andreas Lubitz and another pilot. Andreas Lubitz was a 27 year old German pilot who suffered from severe Depression and Psychological problems which hospitalised him in 2008 and put him on psychotropic medication and pills which contributed to his mental deterioration even more. During the pre flight from Dussledorf to Barcelona Lubitz rehearsed altering the Altitude settings to an 100 feet descent a number of times before changing it back to normal before the captain returned.
Then as the flight was returning from Barcelona back to Dussledorf the captain left the cockpit to head to the toilet, during this time Lubitz engaged the Door controls and had overridden the door lock so that nobody could enter even with a keypad code or a backup key and started an 100ft controlled descent. With a transcript of unreleased black box flight audio it is said that the Captain attempted to enter the cockpit but couldn't, as the plane rapidly descended the captain can be heard screaming, kicking and banging on the door begging Lubitz to open it even using intercoms yet Lubitz doesn't respond and is heard calmly breathing on comms. The captain in a final act of desperation attempts to break down the door with all his force and even using an emergency axe in attempt to smash through the door but to no effect, Aircraft doors post 9/11 are heavily reinforced and are bullet and explosive proof. During the Final moments Lubitz is heard steadily breathing also the captain is heard frantically screaming and smashing the door followed by a loud choir of screaming passengers followed by a large boom and silence. The Airbus slams 430 mph into a mountain range in the French alps instantly killing and disintegrating all 150 passengers on board aswell as the majority of the plane.
It is said that Lubitz had planned the event as an act of mass murder - suicide, Data on his computer shows that he had been extensively studying cockpit lock and altitude controls aswell as "suicide methods", It is also mentioned that a possible motive aside from his psychological problems was a grievance against Germanwings as he feared that he was going blind and would not be able to follow his dream of being a pilot due to pilot health requirements, The strange thing is that he never actually was going blind and is said to have had delusions of going blind caused by a undiagnosed psychosomatic illness.
What i find extremely Brutal and Disturbing about this event is the thought that someone would have the mentality and will to instantly end the lives of 100s of people despite the Pleading and desperateness of fear ridden passengers aswell as the final moments and climax of Death with the ambience of screaming and a eerie descending aircraft drone followed by a high speed impact. Lubitz must of had a horrible warped reality which lead him to calmly kill himself and 149 others without hesitation.
The event is classed as the darkest day in modern German aviation history and is among the worst top mass murders by aircraft excluding 9/11.
