Shots fired by Eric

So the final report says that Eric fired 96 rounds from his carbine:
- Library: 13
- Inside: 13
- Outside: 47

But actually looking at the evidence logs, it would seem Eric fired 104 rounds from his carbine:
- Library: 22
- Science Area: 5
- Main Hallway: 10
- Outside: 45
- Administration Offices: 11
- Cafeteria: 11

Gotta love jeffco with all their inconsistencies    

Also Eric had two magazines left over: one with 8 rounds and one with 10 rounds. (all of which are 10 round capacity)

Eric's dropped magazines (all are empty):
- Library: 2
- Main Hallway: 3
- Outside: 3
- Administration Offices: 2

Which number is the official/accepted number of shots fired?
Also, how would events like the cafeteria be explained with 11 shots being fired (more than a single magazines capacity), yet no empty magazines recovered in that area?

Eric probably had a round in the chamber plus the 10 rounds in the magazine, and he might have just dropped the empty magazine somewhere else.
