I was listening to a podcast about the 24 hour news cycle and If all this coverage is almost scintillating to people.

I dare say from my memories of that summer of 1999 every night on my local news there was the nightly columbine update and let’s see how all the injured survivors are doing and what did Eric Harris wear? Let’s watch a video of him playing soccer and smiling at the camera

Then I found this article which boggled my mind

I don't even have the words to express the many ways in which pornography leading to school shootings makes no sense. But I would like to point out how insanely out of touch this woman is not just about school violence, but about the world, in general.
"Pornography, it’s available, it’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store,” she said. “Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there."
I don't think a teen boy has reached onto a store shelf for porn in about 15 yrs. Has she not heard of the Internet?!

As for the titilation factor of violence, I definitely think there is a segment of society for whom this applies <cough, Tumblr, cough>

Also on a small note. Has any school shooter besides Dylan ever brought pornos up? We know he had a foot fetisg

The majority of boys in their late teens watch pornography, they don't shoot up schools. They blamed pornography for Ted Bundy too and psycho that he was Bundy pretended it was true.
