I am looking for mass murder incidents where the attacker actually pulled off the attack but manages to screw it up, fortunately, and kill no one. Can you give me some cases to read?

The Macerata Shooting.

28 year old Luca Traini, shot and wounded six African migrants via a drive-by shooting (using a Glock 17), in revenge for Pamela Mastropietro, an 18 year old local girl who was raped, killed and dismembered by a Nigerian asylum seeker (of course).

Two students died in that shooting. The shooter, Austin Rollins, and the ex girlfriend he shot, Jaelynn Willey. I don't know if he tried to make it a mass murder, but he successfully killed someone, so I wouldn't count that one.

1993 Los Angeles County USC Medical Center shooting (3 injured)
2020 Wangfu Central Primary School stabbing (at least 39 injured)
