On September 26th, 2012, Kiev resident Yaroslav Mazurok entered the Karavan shopping center and reportedly stole an USB stick. Security guards stopped him and brought him into a backroom, Mazurok resisted and pulled out a modified pistol that captured ejected bullets and proceeded to shoot numerous guards, killing three and escaping.
Security cam footage of it can be found online that I cannot post here.
A manhunt went underway searching for Mazurok but it wasn't until November 9th when they found his body in the nearby woods, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound from the same gun.
Sounds pretty cut and dry right? Well there's some fishy circumstances surrounding this case and theories have surrounded it for years, some of which have called Mazurok a trained hitman due to his fighting and modified weapon.
Lyudmyla Mazurok, Yaroslav's wife who saw him last the day of the shooting, waking up to find him gone but his phone still there, has maintained his innocence and has pointed out inconsistencies in the investigation. Lyudmyla has gone on record saying she does not recognize the man in the video as her husband, and that the age range the police gave out (20-30) did not match his near-40s age. Furthermore, she refutes that her husband could've moved like that because he had arthritis from being a plasterer, and also refutes he was an assassin. Lyudmyla believes that he was framed and killed himself because of the accusations, as his name was released before a real investigation was established. Her theory that has caught on, is that it Mazurok was the fall man so that Ukrainian parliament could pass a bill that would've armed security guards that would be voted for in October of that year.

If you look the video, it looks that the gunman had a training for combat. What's your opinion on it? Was he framed? Or was he really the gunman?
