Why do you think Nik stopped shooting?

His rampage only lasted 6 minutes, he dropped his rifle and ran away before police even arrived. Why so quick? Was he low on ammo? Did he simply get bored and didn't want to kill anymore? Did anxiety kick in and decide he didn't wan't to fight the police?

The reason he stopped shooting was because his gun jammed.

How could have he possibly took more one gun? where would have he hid it? And where would he put the extra ammunition?

But if he want take another gun with himself he can take another case/bag, take clothing with pockets, mini-bags on body. It's not hard.

Well considering that the Uber driver was being suspicious as to why he had the guitar case, I'm pretty sure he would have been found out if he took another case or bag.

And there are plenty of suicidal shooters that have only took one gun.

Nikolas Cruz is not a very smart person since he is the same dumbass who wrote Quora questions about being a psychopath. I also believe that Nikolas Cruz wasn't planning suicide. Instead, I speculate Nikolas Cruz was planning to escape with an insanity plea. I speculate that even if he is suicidal, he didn't think of the possibility of his gun jamming on him but we'll only know during the trial.

I think he stopped shooting because he realised the police wern't there yet, and he decided to try and escape.

If he would of kept shooting and killing to the very end as long as he could until he was forced to he stopped by police either by arrest or suicide like most other shooters he could of doubled his body count. He killed 17 in 6 minutes, the police entered after 11 minutes so he could of killed at least like 34.

Most people where already hiding in closed classrooms or where out and the windows in the teachers lounge he tried to shot from didnt break.

If he had actually entered a class room he could have gotten a much higher kill count, like Lanza or Cho. But he left I assume because he felt he had done enough damage and he didn’t want to get shot by the cops

All the shooters you mentioned had their own vehicles, Cruz on the other hand had to take an Uber to the school, and since the Uber driver was already asking why he had the guitar case and beginning to be suspicious of Cruz, and another case or bag would have brought on more suspicion. So even if Cruz could have took another gun, he wouldn't have.

Probably just liked it more, also I don't think he ever shot his AK. In the police interview he said himself that he literally only shot his Smith & Wesson M&P 15 twice, and that was in his garage (very reckless). So it is likely he never shot his AK at all. Additionally, in his internet search history his history included an article called "How the AR-15 Became Mass Shooters’ Weapon of Choice", he read this on February 10th or 11th, additionally, the 11th is the day he recorded his vlogs(?, I don't know what to call them) and in the vlogs he says "Unload my bags, and get my AR...", so that article might have influenced his decision.

I have heard this said before but there is no evidence for this.

The reason he stopped shooting is because his main plan was to shoot people that were fleeing (Charles Whitman style, Cruz made a YouTube comment (quite disturbingly) saying "I am going to do what he did", and when the hurricane proof glass did not allow for him to shoot the people down at the courtyard, he decided that it was over and he fled the scene.

I do not believe he ever planned to commit suicide, he wrote on a note on his phone that he wanted Angie (a 15 yr old girl he was harassing and obsessing over) to come see him: "If I don't die [Angie] please see me." Suggesting that he was planning on not dying.

Probably was out of targets/heard the cops/maybe was having overheating problems (that one's pure speculation). I imagine he was really disappointed that the storm proof glass stopped his bullets and the adrenaline was probably wearing down.

I think the way the buildings in that school are set up, that he ran out of targets and knew the police where there. He would have to go to another building to start again and be out in the open. That is why he fled to the nearby neighborhood.
