7 years ago today, Adam Peter Lanza shot his own mother 4 times in the head, went to sandy hook elementary, and murdered 26 people: including 20 children between six and seven years old, and six adult staff members. Lanza later killed himself with a gunshot to the head.

I can't believe it's been 7 years. I remember hearing it on the radio while I was driving on my lunch break at work and had to pull over because I was crying so hard. May they continue to rest in peace

7 years... That's longer than most of the victims were even alive.

Wow that’s tough to be believe. I hope the survivors are doing well though I’m certain they’re suffering mentally. Also I feel it’s important to remember Nancy Lanza as well, she’s certainly a victim too.

Yeah, this is really sad. People directed a lot of anger towards her. She knew her son was troubled, but who could ever imagine their son doing something so terrible?
