Eventually they'll go right past "forgive" and into legend. I mean we've all forgiven Jack the Ripper, right? Vlad the Impaler is a mega-celebrity under his stage-name "Dracula," and I can't remember the last time anyone held a grudge against Lizzie Borden or Jesse James.

I still hold a grudge against Lizzie Borden, thank you very much, gustopoet. She was a biatch.

I also hold a grudge against Lizzie Borden.

People don't have to forgive Eric and Dylan. I'm sure there are some people still angry with what they did. As mental recovery is different for everyone and the length of the process varies. There should not be outright demonization of people who are still yet to completely forgive them.

Though that being said, a weight should be lifted off the shoulders of those people when they do forgive.

I'd also have to agree with the cliché "If we don't forgive Eric and Dylan, they've won."
