He now prays five times a day, sticks to a strict Muslim diet and spends hours each day studying the Qur'an, the source said. But his new routine has upset Muslim inmates."

Interesting but I dont believe it either, I would need more proofs about it that a simply claim or whatever

It is certainly possible he did, but given how delusional and separated from reality James Holmes is, I think that he is probably attracted to the concept of jihad in Islam teachings.

In my humble opinion, it's a real shame that James Holmes wasn't given the death penalty. However he was not. The authorities should segregate him from other prisoners and keep him in solitary confinement for the duration of his sentence. The true concept of 'Jihad' is that it represents the spirit of inner struggle to lead a godly life. It is nothing to do with violence. This guy is the kind of person that gives Muslim's a bad name. Which is probably why the other muslims are getting upset. What that piece of crap is doing is adding fuel to the fire which has been caused by ignorant, ill educated, hate filled and worthless radicals. Every religion has them and every nation. Sadly we have to listen to them because they shout the loudest.. Just like the annoying kid in class who is thick as shit and wants to drag everyone to his own distorted view of the world.... Rant over!
