I've been tracking the history of all US mass attacks, as well as others worldwide. what the media labels the "modus operandi columbine" is a big hoax. what happened at columbine was just one of many school bombings and shootings. suicide after the act is also not an attribute of columbine, as acts like this have been recorded since the 19th century. this happens for two reasons:
- Not wanting to surrender to the authorities
- Suicidal thoughts.
Of course, it cannot be denied that Columbine attracted many new mass shooters, but to say that Columbine itself gave rise to this whole wave of mass attacks is a lie. there is plenty of evidence that columbine has nothing to do with this increase after all. especially after the 2000s. people like Timothy McVeigh, Seung Hui Cho and Pekka Eric Auvinen are much more influential in new attacks mainly on their axes than columbine. in fact, apparently many mass shooters like Elliot Rodger, Matti Saari and probably Brandon Scott Hole were not directly inspired by columbine, but rather by other more effective and significant attacks. not even the idea of writing manifestos or diaries came from columbine. columbine mysticism is therefore a product of the media. directly influenced by columbine we have people like Andrew Blaze.

Important point: Pekka Eric Auvinen didn't even want to be treated as a school shooter, but as a political terrorist, thus proving that figures like McVeigh were much more influential on him than columbine, despite of course, he knew the case and even made videos about it. Elliot Rodger is an enigma but certainly the Columbine attack was known to him, but not an inspirational factor.
