There has been a shooting at one of Prague's Universities. The surrounding area of Náměstí Jan Palach has been closed down and police are advising people to stay away. Exact numbers are not known yet but there are apparently dead and wounded. According to Voice of Europe the attacker used a long-barrelled weapon with optics.

The shooter from the University of Prague is called David Kozak - media
He opened fire on the fourth floor of the university's Faculty of Philosophy building.

I dunno what gun laws are like for czechs but you certainly don't see AR's every day in european shootings.
The weapon was his father. He killed him and then took his gun and went to shoot.
According to the police chief, the shooter killed at least 15 people and injured at least 24 others. According to the police, he had no accomplices. The 24-year-old shooter died by his own hand on the school's sidewalk when the policemen shot at him.
The police are examining his communications on the networks, from which it appears that he was inspired by the recent shooting in Bryansk, Russia, during which a fourteen-year-old high school girl opened fire in a biology class, killing two people and wounding five.
12:20 Police ČR received info. that a 24-year-old man from Houstouň went to Prague and wants to kill himself 12:45 found father dead the perpetrator had a lecture at the school FF in Celetná at 2:00 p.m., Police ČR on the spot 14:22 building in Celetná evacuated 14:59 shooting reported on Palachová sqr. 3:20 p.m. the shooter's body was found on the roof
