They both had cults of animated cartoons. Their motives are similar and they both shot up their jobs Brandon probably looked up to Randy.

Yes, leaked FBI archives shows that brandon visited the wiki page of the shooting at least 1000+ in the last months before the Shootings, he also did a obscure show animation of 4 episodes named "AGQ (Applejack's Ghost squad)", the show was maded based in what he did with applejack and her squad in his dreams, he didnt posted it because applejack told him that the shows was supposed to be exclusive for the police
