Dylan school photos (each year)

Seventh grade:

Ever notice that both him and Eric don't smile in their Junior year photos? At least he smiled in all of the rest.

Actually, this is Dylan and Eric's 11th grade photos. Those color photos are their 12th grade photos. And the colored ones where they are dressed a little bit nicer and look to be taken outdoors are their senior pictures. Yearbook photos (which is what these are) are only colored when you are in 12th grade. Every other year they are in black and white. It may be different now but back in the 90's that is how it was.

That's surprising. Acolumbinesite (which has always been trustworthy before) is where I took the 11th grade image from.

Yea, they've got it wrong on that site. They have what is actually their 12th grade photos marked as 11th grade. These are actually their 11th grade photos. They are also the photos that all the news stations used when they revealed the identity of the shooters. And that is because they didn't have access to the current year school photos because the yearbooks hadn't been published yet.

Here in the US, when you are a senior, you get your pictures taken twice. Before the school year starts, sometime in the summer, you have senior pictures taken. Those are the ones they get dressed up for. Then when the school year starts and they take yearbook photos, you get your photo taken again. Usually for the yearbook they use your senior photos though. That is why people mistake their 12th grade photos for 11th grade because they aren't in the yearbook. Their senior photos are what's in the yearbook.

This here is Dylan's driving abstract. The photo that was on his drivers license. The photo was taken on October 16, 1997. 2 months after Dylan's 11th grade photo. Dylan did not have long hair when he was in 11th grade. You can see in his 12th grade photo (which was taken 2 months after his senior picture) that he had longer hair.
