| Hey guys. I didn't know if this was the discussion to post in but I'm new so I wasn't sure. Did Rachel Joy Scott have any classes with Eric and Dylan? In the movie I'm Not Ashamed; they had a class together but I didn't know if it was true. |

I usually don't watch movies.
I am more into documentaries, however, I did watch the whole movie.
I don't expect any movie to be accurate but I did note a few things:
Beginning of movie, Rachel drawing on back of dresser when she was 8. She was really 13. (http://www.thedenverchannel.com/about/spotlight/the-inspiring-writings-of-rachel-scott-uncovered-in-rachels-story-triumph-over-tragedy - In his presentations, Darrell shares the words his family found in a handprint on the back of Rachel’s dresser in her bedroom. At just 13-years-old, Rachel wrote: "These hands belong to Rachel Joy Scott and will someday touch millions of people's hearts.")
Her parent’s divorce in 1988, remarried in 1995. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Scott - Rachel's parents divorced in 1988, but maintained a cordial relationship to one another, and the couple held joint custody of their children. The following year, Beth and her children relocated to Littleton, Colorado, where she remarried in 1995).
Eric begin thrown down the hallway on baby oil – don’t think that ever happened to him. (Source is from Brooks Brown's Book No Easy Answers - Seniors at Columbine would do things like pour baby oil on the floor, then literally “ go bowling” with freshmen; they would throw the kid across the floor, and since he couldn't stop, he'd crash right into other kids while the jocks pointed and giggled. The administration finally put a stop to it after a freshman girl slipped and broke her arm.)
Did not know about her real life “big brother”, that was interesting. (https://www.facebook.com/NathanBallardColumbine/about/?ref=page_internal - Nathan Ballard in the movie I'm Not Ashamed is a character based off Rachel Joy Scott's real life big brother Mark Pettit ( Mark Bodiford at the time of Columbine) . The name was changed in the movie due to me not being found before or during the making of the movie for legal reasons as they needed permission to use my name yet couldn't find me. Even with out his help , Ben Davies who plays Nathan Ballard in the Movie, did all the research he could watching old video footage of me, as well as studying the Journals that Rachel and I kept , and lots of prayer and dedication to his role, made the likeness of the character very close and accurate, almost a perfect portrait of who I was at that age. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful guy like Ben portray such a important part of my life, with such a special and important relationship I had with Rachel.)
Dylan mentions to Eric about killing in a video game if that could be Columbine and Eric says "maybe it could be". Dylan then says "you are sick" and Eric says "you brought it up", and Dylan says "I wasn’t serious". (I wonder where the producers got this idea from - maybe trying to link violent video games with violent thoughts).
Rachel’s thought about suicide and her “big brother” giving her hope to stay alive. (I wonder if that was true).
Both Eric and Rachel quote wanting to “start a chain reaction”.
1:19:00 into the movie - Eric/Dylan’s video “Hitmen for Hire” on how they would change the world. (Surprised to see that video re-enacted here).
Rachel is shown being in a same class with Eric/Dylan. (That was not true).
Eric/Dylan confronting Rachel in the stairway. (I don’t think that ever happened).
At prom, Rachel’s friend talks about a voodoo doll in reference to Rachels’s best friend’s betrayal. (Eric actually had a voodoo doll in his room).
Final words spoken to Rachel: Eric "Well Rachel, where is your God now?" Dylan "What would Jesus do?" Eric "Do you still believe in God? Rachel "You know I do" Eric "Then go be with him" (gunshot).
After Eric gives Dylan his Carbine and Dylan gives Eric his pistol, Rachel is killed at the end with the TEC-DC9. (Interesting theory: Eric & Dylan exchange guns and the final shot to the temple was from the TEC-DC9 and not from the Hi-Point Carbine). | |

| They didn't have any classes together, but I think Dylan vaguely knew Rachel and they talked a couple of times. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead
