Thread for forgetting the names of mass shootings and other attacks

I think this thread will be useful for those who are trying to research a mass murder incident but can't remember specific details, like the killer's name and/or the name of the incident. I'll start off with a couple I forgot.

1. A man shot and killed 3 people during a court hearing (I believe it had to do with a divorce) and shot himself in the head and survived.

2. Some type of terrorist attack that killed 1 for sure, and injured about 14. The attacker used a shotgun to kill his victims but attempted to kill himself by overdosing.

Please feel free to remind anyone of these incidents' names.

The first one you mentioned was the Tyler Courthouse Shooting but I'm not sure on the second one. I did hear about it somewhere though.

Is the first one Mark Duong perhaps?

The second one sounds like the 2013 Paris attacks that were perpetrated by Abdelhakim Dekhar.

It's possible, but I believe the shooter shot himself and survived before going to trial for the shooting.

Yes, you're correct on that one. Thanks a lot.

1st one might be Tyler courthouse but the shooter died after a high speed car chase.
