| Many have speculated that E&D didn't kill more people was because the adrenaline wore off, up close and personal murder was too much and quickly lost its appeal | |

| Do we know why they chose the library to kill themselves? _________________ Will you remain my fire in this temporary paradise?

| No one knows why they chose the library.
My own personal theory was that when they were in the commons the last time they saw a lot of cops. They decided to go back to the library to get the "higher ground" to shoot at the cops. They shot out a few times of the library windows. Then when Eric realized either his bullets were not doing enough damage or that there were just too many cops there and the end was neigh, he went and committed suicide.
Meanwhile I think Dylan was still in his own little world and turned around to light a bomb and boom. Eric is dead. What choice did he have then other than to follow suit _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

What choice did he have then other than to follow suit I totally agree, although it puzzles me immensely WHY, when given the choice of your time and place to die, they would commit suicide amongst all the death and destruction they caused minutes earlier? They likely thought the cops were closing in and had no choice, but still.... |

They likely thought the cops were closing in and had no choice, but still.... I think selfishly they didn't think anything of the victims in the library or what they had just done there. Eric might have felt like a mouse caught in a trap...felt like he had nowhere to go. He turned around found a quiet spot and just did it. Also I think Eric didn't want to think about the suicide at all. I feel like he probably tried to push it out of his mind until the last minute. And when he did think about it to when he died was prob a very short amount of time.

As impossible as it may be to try to understand them I feel the "quick" suicide is very telling all in all. I can only imagine
