Jon Venables and Robert Thompson tried to abduct another boy before James.

According to the documentary from 1997 which is available on YouTube only briefly stated that Venables and Thompson tried to abduct another boy before the official abduction of James Bulger. They didn't really make a big deal out of it but I think that this is one crucial part of information.

Indeed it is. It would prove they had planned doing something like that before, and that it wasn't just a spur of the moment decision to lead away then torture and murder a child.

This case has always boggled my mind. How two young kids did something like that?    Either way I still think they should never have seen the light of day again. The fact they were given the chance to live a somewhat normal life pisses me off. Even worse that Jon Venables has been caught with child porn two times now, and also images of child torture/abuse, much like what he and Thompson had done to James. If this doesn't prove that he has not changed one little bit then I don't know what would.

These quotes taken from a recent news article says it all.  

"The killer's new identity is protected by a lifelong anonymity order and has been changed four times since his release in 2001, costing taxpayers £250,000 each time, and around £5million in total has been spent trying to rehabilitate him."

"A source told the newspaper: 'Every expense has been afforded him, every expert opinion offered, every opportunity given.
'And yet here we are again. If he is found to have committed a new offence, then why should the public continue to pay through the nose to protect his anonymity any longer?"


I can't understand why they keep wasting money and giving him every opportunity to do this to another innocent child.  Some people just do not deserve to live, Venables is one of them.

I read an article where it had a list of all these people who were arrested over the years for releasing this monster's new identity and pictures of him and I couldn't believe that. Why does he get a new identity? And why is he protected for the rest of his life? I don't get it? It's not like he was a little 10 year old kid when he was released. He was a grown ass man. And why does he keep getting released when he keeps doing the same shit?

I read something and they were like "well we can't stop him from looking at child porn". Uh..what? Yea, you can, throw him in prison for the rest of his life where he belongs.

Eactly! But for some unknown reason they keep giving him chances. HE IS NEVER GOING TO BE REHABILITATED! HE IS NEVER GOING TO STOP! There is no help for someone like that. I honestly can't fathom how they haven't gotten this by now! Why do they keep letting him out, keep letting him have opportunities to do it again?  It makes no sense.

But being truthful, he would never have made it this long if that was my child he tortured and killed. Neither of them would have lasted long after their release. I wouldn't care if I spent the rest of my life in prison, I would have found someway to get to them. They would have died in the same painful manner as James had.
