Columbine High School Massacre Discussion Forum

*Overall, he was wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. He carried a Glock 26 (pictured) and a Glock 19 (not pictured although the magazine pictures are mags for the 19), the bullets he used were Hornaday Critical Defense hollow points (for both the 19 & 26). He also carried a boot knife.

The three handguns he allegedly carried with him, according to his social media, one was a Glock 31, another a Glock 32 and the third a Glock 33. He also used a AR15 with a leather strap but I was unable to find any pictures of it. Interestingly enough, all the handguns he used were chambered in .357SIG which is a fairly uncommon cartridge.

I'm surprised 357 SIG hasn't been used more, since it's pretty much meant to be 357 Magnum except for pistols.
It's pretty costly and it's ballistics aren't too different than .40 S&W other than it having a flatter shooting profile (better for longer range) but that wouldn't matter much in a mass shooting since most victims are usually shot from pretty close range. It's also produces a pretty large muzzle flash which can be a bit disorienting for the shooter too. Honestly a 9/40/45 could all do the same job as the 357 for much less of the cost given that shot placement and accuracy are the biggest factor in whether or not a bullet actually kills/seriously injures a target.

Nikolas Cruz also carved swastikas into the stock of one of his Mossberg shotguns (not used in the shooting though).

Martin Peyerl? (found in some german article, is possibly this is the weapons that he used, since it matchs since he used a revolver, a ruger-mini 14, a shotgun and a lever action rifle, but I am not sure)
