1994 Taiz shooting

I don't know if any of you has ever heard of this obscure shooting, since the information were all blocked due to the AFP article being under a paywall, the other sources are from Swiss newspapers. What happened is that:

On March 25 and 26 1994, a Yemeni killed eleven women and seven men, among them his wife and his mother, before he was arrested by police. When he was led away he managed to wrest the gun from a police officer and kill another four people, three of them police officers, before he himself was shot dead. A total of 23 people were killed, including the suspect.

I am surprised that there almost no information available on this shooting. Is this incident probably famous in Taiz?

For some reason the sources are non-clickable. However the guy who added the entry says how he find the case and how to find another mentions on the incident. link

It's very likely that the AFP article had much more info, but the site is dead by now and there no archive for it. I wonder if this incident was quite a sensation in Yemen.
