Here is the issue of Newsweek that came out the week after the massacre. (The cover date is always a week ahead of the publication date - the issue dated May 3 hit newsstands on April 26.)
These images were scanned from a bound volume. Whoever did the scanning didn't bother to make sure that the text in the "gutter" (the area near the fold in the middle of the two pages) was legible. There's nothing I can do about it.
Again, if you need or want better quality, let me know.
Wow, so the leader/follower narrative was already being pushed so soon after the shooting!

Cullen didn't start that. One of the first people to call Dylan a "follower" was Brooks Brown when he was being interviewed by NBC the day after the massacre. That's the exact word he used. (Brooks does not approve of Cullen's book due to Cullen denying that bullying played a role in the massacre.)

I think you might be confusing him with Randy Brown

Sure about this? I watched an interview with Brooks on YouTube. He doesnt specifically say that hes dismissing the book. I believe he says that Cullen is wrong on certain things, Bullying being one of them
