School attacks perpetrated in Latin America

Carmen de Patagones school shooting:
On September 28, 2004, 15-year-old Rafael Solich killed three fellow students and wounded five more at the "Islas Malvinas" Institute in Carmen de Patagones, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. After that one of his classmates and best friends, tackled him and removed his weapon. After the authorities were warned, he did not resist, and was arrested and transferred to the port city of Bahía Blanca.

Rio de Janeiro school shooting:
On April 7, 2011, 23-year-old Wellington Menezes de Oliveira entered Tasso da Silveira Municipal School armed with a .38-caliber revolver and a .32-caliber revolver and killed 12 children and wounded 22 others before fatally shooting himself in the head after being shot by a military policeman.

Colegio Americano del Noreste shooting:
On January 18, 2017, 16-year-old Federico Guevara pulled out a .22 revolver and opened fire inside a classroom at Colegio Americano del Noreste in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. One of his classmates was hit point-blank, his teacher Cecilia Solis was shot and would later die, and other peers between 13 and 15 were wounded. He tried to shoot himself in the head, but missed and ran out of ammo. He went back to his desk and reloaded the gun, then shot himself in the chin. He later died in the hospital after suffering brain death.

Suzano school shooting:
On March 13, 2019, 17-year-old Guilherme Taucci Monteiro and 25-year-old Luiz Henrique de Castro killed five students and two school employees at their former school before Taucci killed his partner and committed suicide. Before the attack, the pair also killed Monteiro's uncle.

Colegio Cervantes shooting:
On January 10th, 2020, 11-year-old José Ángel Ramos opened fire at the facilities of Colegio Cervantes, killing one and wounding six before fatally shooting himself.

Goyases School shooting:
On October 20th, 2017, an unnamed 14-year-old student of the private school Goyases opened fire against his classmates with a .40-caliber Taurus PT100 pistol, leaving two dead and four injured. He was later arrested after being convinced not to commit suicide by a school staff member.

Medianeira School Shooting:
On September 28th, 2018, two teenagers, 15, entered armed and shot against classmates of the João Manoel Mondrone State College in Medianeira, Paraná, Brazil. Two students were injured, and the perpetrators, arrested.

State School Coronel Benedito Ortiz shooting:
On January 27th, 2003, 18-year-old Edmar Freitas shot and wounded six students, a teacher and a janitor with a .38 caliber revolver at State School Coronel Benedito Ortiz. He then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

On October 28th, 2002, an unnamed 17-year-old student shot and killed 2 female students, both 15, with a .38 caliber revolver. He was later arrested. The case occurred in a private school in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil

Remanso, Bahia spree shooting (two locations including a school)

According to the city's police clerk, José Melônio Heston, the attacker bought a caliber revolver 38 days before the crime. Around 7:30 pm on February 4, he went to the home of a 14-year-old classmate, who was teasing him at school, and killed him. "I don't know why, but he [the sniper] suffered a lot of humiliation at school. He was very shy and was getting 'scared', with depression. The boy he killed had even thrown mud at him," he said.

After shooting at his colleague, the boy went to a computer school to try to kill a teacher he didn't like. When prevented from entering by another employee, he shot her in the head, who also died. According to Heston, another student disarmed the sniper and he was taken to the police station. "His goal was to kill himself, he kept saying that at the police station, he had even left a note with that Nazi symbol," he said. As the aggressor was a teenager, he was sent to fulfill a socio-educational measure in the municipality of Feira de Santana and, currently, he is in assisted freedom."

2000 Rafael Calzada Middle School school shooting:
On August 4th 2000, 19 year old Javier Romero armed with a .22 caliber revolver, shot dead Mauricio Salvador, 16 year old, and injured Gabriel Ferrari, 18 year old. Javier would suffer bullying by his colleagues, saying they would kill him, take his stuff and call him "Pantriste", in reference in the main character of the animeted movie Corazón, las alegrías de Pantriste, where the main character, is a melancholic and shinny young man, which was realized in July 6th, 2000, less than a month before. According to him, he didnt get the gun for his dad, and he instead he got from a colleague, which said that he couldnt continue seeing him like that and that he should scare them, and when Javier said he didnt know to shoot, the colleague said to press the trigger and nothing else. Ultimately Javier was diagnosed with Schizoid personality disorder and he was considered mental ill, being sent to a psychiatric hospital.

2001 Escola Estadual Aloísio Short shooting:
On August 6th, 2001, 18 year old Robério Souza de Oliveira, jumped the wall and broke to Escola Estadual Aloísio Short with a shotgun. He studied at that school, until 1999, when he drop out He would ultimately injured 7 students and 1 teacher, run away from the scene and kill himself. One theory for the shooting, is that he loved the teacher he injured, even tho he never had classes with that teacher. Other theory, is that he was drugged, thatcould be desproved by the autopsy report, but I havent anything about it.

On August 21st, 2019, an unnamed 17-year-old former student of the IEE Assis Chateaubriand threw a Molotov cocktail into a classroom and injured 3-6 people before being disarmed and later apprehended.

Toluca school attack:
On March 1st, 2017, 16-year-old Carlos Alejandro Medina Millán entered a high school at the Autonomous University of Mexico State and injured 5 students with an ax and threw Molotov cocktails before fleeing home, where he was later arrested.

Did that kid at IEE Assis get punched in the face? It looks like it in the video

09/23/2011- Brazil, São Paulo a 10 years old Kid, David Mota Nogueira ask his teacher for the bathroom, he goes to the bathroom,  and back with a  revolver, shoot his teacher Rosileide Queiros de Oliveira, he leaves the classroom and shoots himself.

No one was murdered, the teacher survived and David dead by the shot

September 12, 2012 - Guatemala - Escuela Rural Mixta de Autogestión San Juan de la Asunción stabbing

Julio Saquil, a 35 years old man, while he was drunk, enters to a primary and kills Evelyn Yanisa Saquij Bin, 8 years old, and Juan Armando Coy Cal 13 years old with a machete, then he was killed by civilians.

March, 22, 2022 - Brazil -  Sao Paulo School stabbing

A 13 years old attacks with a Knife 2 classmates, then he was arrested

April 21, 2015 - Guatemala - Guatemala School Shooting

Edas Emilio Lemus a 19 years old, wanted to kill a teacher who sexually abused him but he didnt found him and decided shot the students, he injured 3 and then was arrested

May 6, 2002 - México - Gabriela Mistral car attack

José Luis Nieto Avila killed 2 students Reyes Ríos 3 years old and Ariana Martinez 4 years old, and injured some students because the teachers didn't want to let him pass, he was Condemned 50 years in prison

November, 11, 2020 - Argentina - School Dance Stabbing

A 30 years old man, enters to a School Dance with a Knife and Injured 2, María Antón 26 years old and Sofía Bovino 36 years old, then he was injured and arrested
