I know Timothy McVeigh who has been a soldier for a while, for some reason shooters who have enlisted in the army are particularly interesting to me. What mass shooters do you know have participated in the army? I would like to know some more...

just off the top of my head:
steven kazmierczak, micah johnson, chris mercer, jakrapanth thomma, julian knight.

also, ian long and charles whitman were both in the marines.

Stephan Ballet (Halle shooting, killed 2, 2 injured) served in the German armed forces for like six months.

Mattias Flink (Falun shootings, 7 killed, 3 injured) at the time of the shooting he serving as Second Lieutenant at the Swedish Armed Forces.

Yes! Exactly, it was that same! It was very detailed, I also liked how he narrated his mental problems and how he was managing them (as with the medications) it was a very good article, I hope find more like this

Matti Saari got thrown out of the Finnish Army in 2006 for not obeying orders and firing during a woodland exercise. He had only been in the army for a month.
