Do you think Dylan knew about Eric's tape?

The one where Eric's recording alone, talking about his friends and acquaintances, and getting emotional?
Do you think Dylan ever knew about that? Did Eric tell him about it, maybe "I recorded a tape by myself, just saying good-bye to my friends." Do you think Dylan saw the tape himself?
What would he think of Eric apologizing, falling silent, and then crying like that?

It is an interesting question and we will probably never know for sure. Just guessing, I would say he probably never knew it existed.

If he had found out, I don't think it really would have changed anything. Dylan was anger and wanted to die. NBK was his solution.
