Timur is probably suffering from horrible phantom pains due to amputation of his leg.
It was also reported that he had kidney damage and doctors put him on hemodialysis at some point, I wonder if it's actually over for his kidneys and he has to regularly do this procedure (or not), unfortunately, it's not mentioned in news at all. 
He will serve his sentence at one of those super-maximum security prisons for people who got life sentence, I suspect such institutions don't have any adequate system for people who need a wheelchair so he will probably use only crutches to move which is not a good thing because there will be too much pressure on his knee which can even lead to joint destruction and he won't be able to walk at all as the time goes by.

I genuinely feel bad for him. I wouldn't be shocked if they find him swinging in his cell.

Also, I've been watching court videos with Bekmansurov lately and turns out he can't pronouce the rolled "R" in Russian correctly which can be considered a speech impediment. Poor guy.
