Easily one of the most apparent cases of "society" mistreating someone until they break and kill people, which fits rlly well into Adam's worldview. That's the reason he'd probably have given, but we really know it's because Robbie was just a cheeky guy :^p

Adam's got a good point I think the only reason they used the name "Robert" is because Robert Hawkins has a sad teenager ark that most edgy teenagers would relate to

The guy from Foster The People has said repeatedly that "Robert" being the character in the song's name was a coincidence and had nothing to do with Hawkins.
